Overview
Description
The “Networking” course describes how to display graphically, the interrelationships between project tasks, and provides examples of some of the standards used when portraying this information. The identification of a project’s critical path is also explained, and includes a description on how this information is displayed in the project flow chart.
Audience
This course is suitable for business professionals or IT staff requiring an understanding of project management principles.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the “Project Management Overview” course or equivalent knowledge. As most examples are IT related, a basic understanding of IT and Data Center processing environments is also required.
Objectives
After completing this course, the student should be able to:
- Define the elements of a project
- Describe the Critical Path and its importance in projects
- Locate the Critical Path in a simple network
