Overview
Audience
Personnel requiring an understanding of the iSeries programming environment. This course covers
basic and more advanced concepts. It would also be helpful to personnel with programming
experience who are new to the iSeries Programming Environment.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of programming concepts and the iSeries operating system.
Objectives
After completing this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the Development Environment, including the user profile, libraries, library list, source
files, and output queues.
- Identify the concepts of, and use, Program Development Manager (PDM).
