Operators, Programmers and other Personnel, who need to use JCL for their job requirement.
Prerequisites
Solid knowledge of the VSE and the Operating System and completion of Datatrain’s JCL – Basic VSE Job Control course or similar
Objectives
After completing this course, the student should be able to -
- Understand the function of JCL
- Be familiar with the different parameters and the options that can be used with JCL
- Use the correct format when coding parameters
- Use JCL statements to select the job attributes required
- Recognize Return Codes and their values
- Understand the use of symbolic parameters
